USING SURROCOMPASS
Terms of Use
Effective September 24, 2026
These terms describe the SurroCompass directory and account service. “SurroCompass,” “we,” and “us” refer to the service operating at surrocompass.com. Contact support@surrocompass.com with questions. When you affirmatively accept these terms to create or sign in to an account, you agree to them.
Who the account service is for
Accounts are for people at least 18 years old who live in the United States. Browsing public information does not require an account. Use an email address you control, provide accurate information, and keep sign-in codes private. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
Research and comparison, with professional advice where needed
SurroCompass helps you discover and compare agencies. We are not a surrogacy agency, fertility clinic, medical practice, law firm, escrow provider, or party to an arrangement you make with an agency. Content is general information, not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Consult qualified professionals about your circumstances and applicable law.
A listing, placement, filter match, or comparison is not an endorsement, accreditation, background check, or guarantee of quality, availability, legality, price, or outcome. Details can change or be incomplete. Confirm them directly with the agency before making a decision or payment. Our information standards explain sources, missing information, and corrections.
Agency relationships and sponsorship
Agencies operate independently and set their own agreements, fees, and privacy practices. External websites are controlled by their operators. Review their terms before providing information. Agencies may pay for clearly labeled advertisements; payment buys visibility, not a recommendation. Advertising purchases are governed by the Agency Advertising Terms and the written order agreed with the agency.
Privacy and contact choices
Our Privacy policy and separate Consumer Health Data Privacy policy explain data use and your rights. Accepting these terms does not grant marketing, agency-sharing, calling, texting, or health-data sale permission. Those choices are separate. Do not submit another person’s contact details or sensitive medical information without an appropriate basis.
Permitted use and content
You may use the directory for lawful research and comparison. Do not impersonate others, submit misleading information, send spam, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or attempt to obtain private account information. Do not copy or redistribute protected content beyond permission or applicable law. Agency names and trademarks belong to their owners; their appearance does not imply affiliation.
If you supply a correction, business description, or other material for publication, you confirm you have the rights to provide it and permit us to use, edit for clarity, and display it for that purpose. This permission does not authorize publishing private parent account information.
Availability and responsibility
We work to keep the directory useful, but do not promise uninterrupted service or that every listing is accurate or complete. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or guaranteed results. We are not responsible for independent agencies’ services or promises. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Closing an account and service changes
You can close your account in Account or contact us. We may restrict misuse or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, legal obligations, or a material violation of these terms. Privacy rights remain available even if access is suspended. We may change or discontinue features; paid agency commitments are addressed under their order terms.
Changes and questions
We will post revised terms here with an updated effective date. Material changes affecting account users will be announced in the account area before taking effect, except where an immediate security or legal change is necessary. When acceptance is needed, we will ask for it; we do not treat an earlier acceptance as agreement to new material terms. Contact us to try to resolve a concern. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive rights to bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction.
